Join the cast of Maui’s longest running Polynesian Revue, the Drums of the Pacific Luau, hosted by the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, since 1980. This exciting show features some of the most experienced and talented performers, who will be sharing the legends and stories of Maui and Polynesia through hula, incredible Tahitian drumming, Maori warriors and a spectacular Samoan fire-knife dancing grand finale. You’ll also enjoy the Hyatt Regency Maui’s delicious cuisine, an open bar, renown service and hospitality.
The luau is held at the Hyatt Regency Maui’s Sunset Terrace grounds, named for its strategic beach front location, allowing for some awesome views of Maui’s famous sunset and overlooking Lanai and Molokai islands.
During our first trip to Maui, we experienced the Old Lahaina Luau which we liked very much. This time around, we decided to try the Drums of the Pacific at the Hyatt Regency. In comparing the two, while I liked both, I really enjoyed the fire dancers and the audience involvement of the Hyatt’s performance. Of the two, I felt that the Hyatt’s got off to a slower start which had me concerned initially. All in all, you can’t go wrong w/either of the two mentioned.
