This was my first luau and it was a great experience. The food was great, the drinks were flowing, and the staff were very friendly. The dancers were entertaining and musicians were very talented. I would recommend it if you’re staying in West Maui.

As a premium guest you will enjoy priority check-in at VIP entrance, pre-reserved seating starting on row #2, awesome views to the stage, and of course, all the other features which make the Hyatt Regency Drums of the Pacific Luau one of the most popular luaus on Maui. Upon arrival you will exchange your MauiLuaus.Net voucher for your luau premium tickets at their luau kiosk, located ocean front, next to the Sunset Terrace. Please keep in mind your seats will be assigned on the day of your show, based on the day your reservation was received, in relation to all other premium reservations, so, the sooner you book your Hyatt Maui Luau, the better your seats will be!
Once you settle in…
The Hyatt Luau hostess will greet you at the special VIP check-in area with a shell lei and a drink, before walking you over to your premium seats. You will feel relaxed and in good hands as soon as you set foot at this awesome Kaanapali Luau. Your waiters will start coming to take your drink orders and will keep checking on you throughout the evening. Don’t get too comfortable yet, as we hope you will walk over to the beach, take some pictures, witness the Imu Ceremony (unveiling of the Kalua Pua’a) or even take a hula lesson! Live music and a Polynesian fashion show will also be featured prior to your dinner!
Dinner is served…
As a Preferred Guest you will be one of the first guests invited to their buffet table, where you will find a large selection of salads, hot entrees, side dishes and desserts. All prepared by the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa’s famous chefs. There will be awesome food and plenty of it, so come hungry and don’t be shy! Here in Hawaii we say “don’t eat until you are full, eat until you are tired!”.
